William Esker

William   Esker, 86, of Waterloo, Illinois, died October 14, 2016, in Belleville, IL. He was born July 24, 1930, in Monroe County, IL.

    He is survived by his children Mike (Missy) Esker, Dean (Carmen Englis) Esker, Lonnie (Wendi) Esker; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

    He is preceded in death by his parents George B. & Myrtle (nee Scherer) Esker; wife Joyce Esker nee Vogt; sisters and brothers Oral "Sis" Lutman, Viola Arcuri, Helen Sherman, Dorothy Deterding, Mary Yalloway, Glen Esker, Leo Esker, Everett Esker, George Jr. Esker, and Virle Esker.

    William was retired from A & R Freight Lines, & a member of Renault American Legion. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, gardener, woodworker, a proud US Army Veteran, & an avid Cardinal's fan.

            The family would like to extend a special thank you to Legacy Place for all their caring and kindness.

    4 PM to 8 PM Friday, October 21, 2016 at Quernheim Funeral Home
    9 AM until time of service Saturday 

Funeral:
    10 AM Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo, IL
        Pastor Dennis Jones officiating
    Interment at St. John Cemetery in Valmeyer, IL
