Virginia "Ginny" A. Sweet

Virginia A. "Ginny" Sweet, nee Kessler, 71, of Waterloo, IL, died March 13, 2017, in Waterloo, IL. She was born June 23, 1945, in St. Louis, MO.

    She is survived by her husband Wayne Sweet (married 1968); children, Dale and Caeden (Mary) Sweet; brother John J. (Judith) Kessler; & many nieces; nephews; and in-laws.

    She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Constance (nee Koengsmark) Kessler.

    Mrs. Sweet was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She worked many years at SS Peter and Paul Elementary School and Gibault High School. She held office and enjoyed Home Extension, Relay for Life, and Red Hat group.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to:

    4 PM to 8 PM Friday, March 17, 2017 at Quernheim Funeral Home
    8 AM until 9:30 AM Saturday 

Funeral Mass:
    10 AM Saturday, March 18, 2017 at SS Peter & Paul Church in Waterloo, IL
        Father Clyde Grogan officiating.
    Interment at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery in Waterloo, IL at a later date.
