Vera L.  Baebler, nee Jahr, 94, of Columbia, Illinois, died April 21, 2016, in Waterloo, IL. She was born June 25, 1921, in Valmeyer, IL.

    She is survived by her sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

    She is preceded in death by her parents John and Eleanor (nee Fellenstein) Jahr; & husband Kenneth G. Baebler.

    She was a retired Personnel Records Analyst at Southwestern Bell Telephone - St. Louis; a member of St. Paul UCC-Columbia, IL, Womens Club, Telephone Pioneers of America, Columbia Senior Citizens; Helping Strays of Monroe County; & 4-H of Monroe County.
