Valerie Lyn Anderson, nee Horn, 51, of Ruma, IL, died January 7, 2023, in Ruma, IL. She was born April 6, 1971, in Belleville, IL.

    She is survived by her husband Calvin Anderson; children Ashley Anderson, Brittany (Nicholas) Green, Berry Ray Ruffin, Mary Jane (John) Rake, and Derek Muellner; grandchildren Julia, Makinzee, Andrew, Marilyn, Scott, Amelia, and Elizabeth; sisters and brothers Vickie Moore, Pamela Horn, Sean (Mary Beth) Horn, and Brian Horn; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

    She is preceded in death by her mother Carol E. Schmeding (nee Grove) and her father Edward W. Horn.

    Valerie is a member of Hope Christian Church in Columbia, IL.
