Twila Clara Hoffmann, nee Scheibe, 90, of Waterloo, IL, died August 31, 2024, in St. Louis, IL. She was born July 24, 1934, in Harrisonville, IL.
She is survived by her children Barry (Cathy) Hoffmann and Sharon (John) Glessner; grandchildren Andrew (Andrea) Glessner, Abby (Kyle) Buettner; great grandchildren Colton and Caleb Glessner & Silas and Max Buettner; sisters-in-law Janice Nagel; Patsy Hoffmann, and Karlene Scheibe; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Twila is preceded in death by her husband Cletus L. Hoffmann; parents Walter G. and Hilda B. (nee Offermann) Scheibe; brother Robert Scheibe; sister-in-law Marilyn (Glenn) Luhr; brother-in-law Alvis Hoffmann; and brother-in-law Carl Nagel
She was a member of St. John UCC - Maeystown; Sunday School Teacher for 30+ years; Church Council secretary; YPL sponsor; Women's Fellowship for 65+ years; Maher Trust Trustee; Morrison Talbot Library Board (officer); retired from State Bank of Waterloo after many years
