Thomas D. Carr, 86, of Waterloo, IL, died January 24, 2018, in Waterloo, IL. He was born May 1, 1931, in Valmeyer, IL.

He is survived by his children Jay (Pattie) Carr, Derek (Jenny) Carr; grandchildren Jania (Dave) Meyer & Julia Carr (Pete Harlan), Bradley (Brittany) Hoffmann, Summer Kolmer & Thomas J. Carr; great grandson Jackson Meyer; sister and brothers Pam (Ronnie) Bode, Wallace Carr, & Howard (Bert) Carr; sister-in-law Delores "Dee" Carr; brother-in-law Willard Krebel; nieces; nephews; & cousins.

He is preceded in death by his wife Elaine R. Carr (nee Rehmer); his parents Thomas J. & Dorothy (nee LaSource) Carr; brother Hal Lee Carr; sisters Jackie Sawchik and Shirley Schlemmer; & a sister in infancy.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church - Waterloo; Lions Club (50 year member); Waterloo VFW; retired from Reliance Automotive; & a US Army Veteran - Korean War.
