Richard N. Nungesser, 83, of Waterloo, IL, died June 11, 2022, in Waterloo, IL. He was born September 9, 1938, in Edwardsville, IL.

    He is survived by his brothers Gerald Nungesser and Duane Nungesser; sister Jeanne Clouse; nieces and nephew Sarah Wuertz, Gerald Nungesser Jr., and Christine Schneider; great nieces and great nephew Matt and  Audrey Wuertz and Amber Blissenbach; step great nephew Colton Cheney; and cousins.

    Richard is preceded in death by his parents Milton L. & Yourth P. (nee Nungesser) Nungesser.

    He was formerly employed at Union Pacific Railroad.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: 
BJC Hospice or to the family

    4 PM to 8 PM Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Quernheim Funeral Home
    9 AM until time of service Thursday at Quernheim Funeral Home

Funeral:
    10 AM Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo, IL
        Rev. Jeff McCarn officiating
    Interment at Salem Cemetery in Alhambra, IL
