Pearl K. Brinley, nee Otten, 93, of Waterloo, IL, died May 3, 2015 in Waterloo, IL. She was born March 1, 1922 in Sugar Loaf Township, IL.
She is survived by her daughters Nancy Ferguson, Charlene (Tony) Jacobs, and Cheryl (James) Hicks, 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, step great great grandchildren, god children Sandra Henling, Dorena Colombo, & Geraldine Schaefer, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents George & Emma (nee Peterson) Otten, husband Charles P. Brinley, son Garry Brinley, daughter Doris Millhouse, 2 grandsons, 2 great grandchildren, 5 sisters Otilda Kossina, Adelia Mees, Elenora Newton, Alma Otten, & Mabel Otten, & 3 brothers Harold, Harvey, & Edgar Otten.
Visitation will be at Quernheim Funeral Home from 3 PM to 8 PM Monday May 4, 2015 and AT CHURCH from 9 AM until time of service Tuesday.
Funeral will be at 10 AM Tuesday May 5, 2015 at St. Paul United Church of Christ Waterloo, IL with Pastor Thelma Burgonio-Watson officiating and burial will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL.
Pearl was a member of St. Paul UCC - Waterloo, Afternoon Women's Guild, 50 yr. member of Eastern Star - Queen City #697, worthy matron 3 times, Al Sihah Temple #29, Daughter of the Nile, Women of the Moose #1563, Moose Academy of Friendship, Ladies Auxiliary VFW 6504, Lift Program, Classic 55 Club, Senior Activity Club, Senior Circle, & International Society of Poetry.
