Omea Mae Baker, nee Dickerson, 82, of Marissa, IL, went to be with her Lord and Savior, with her family by her side, on October 12, 2024, at the Coulterville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Coulterville, IL.
She was born November 5, 1941, in Red Bud, IL to Artis "Ted" and Dollie (nee Worley) Dickerson. She married Jerry Baker on Sept. 25, 2004, he survives.
Omea is survived by her husband Jerry Baker; children Vincent Rednour, Thomas Rednour, Janice (Bill) Simon, and Laura Rednour; grandchildren Miranda Rednour, Jeremy (Jessica) Dressel, Justin (Trisha) Dressel, Danielle (Kyle) Sigman, Zach (Brianna) Rednour, Tyler (Amber) Rednour, Logan (Kelsey) Rednour, Alisa (Allen) Nesbit, Chelsea Wegener (Blair Stubbs), and Nicole (Kendall) Addison; numerous great grandchildren; brothers Omen Dickerson and Art Dickerson; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Omea is preceded in death by her parents; brothers William, Lonnie, and Ernie Dickerson; her former husband William Rednour; and nephew Chad Dickerson.
Omea worked for the Senior Center in Marissa and helped the Waterloo Senior Center, she enjoyed watching Cardinals games, cooking, baking, singing country and gospel music and playing the guitar with her family.
