Linda S. Hern

Linda S. Hern, nee Puckett, 72, of Columbia, IL, died October 28, 2020, in Columbia, IL. She was born August 14, 1948, in Little Rock, AR.

She is survived by her husband Elliot S. Hern (married 12/19/1972 in Granite City, IL); children Juanita Biffar, nee Thompson (Lori Kirchner), Jimmie Thompson, and Loletia "DeDe" Forester, nee Thompson (Randy Stephens); grandchildren Nicole Deaton, nee Biffar (Doug Hays), Kelly Chomhirun, nee Biffar (David), Joseph Daugherty (Coleen Gott), Ryan Aukema, Angel Meyer, and Jared LaFata; great grandchildren Jakob Deaton, Liam Hays, Kylie Chomhirun, Brin Chomhirun, Josie Origliosso, Paisley Gott, Jacob Daugherty, and Hutson Killy; sister Debbie Puckett; sisters-in-law Priscilla Bancroft, Alice Newland, Nelia Puckett, and Karla Puckett; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents John W. Puckett & Marvella (nee Gott) and Ralph Bradford; siblings Junior Puckett, Sandra Murray, nee Puckett, John Puckett, Eddie Puckett, and Kenny Puckett.

Linda supported ASPCA, Native American, and Veteran Organizations.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and genuinely believed "the more, the merrier!"
