Linda Gozdecki

Linda Gozdecki, nee Webb 73, of Waterloo, Illinois,, died May 18, 2021 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born November 25, 1947, in Oklahoma City, OK, and grew up in Taylorville, IL.

She is survived by her sister Dr. Jo Ann and brother-in-law Robert Westphal, of Chicago, Il.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd Webb, Dorothy Koerber and step-father Raymond Koerber.

Linda received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at College of St. Francis. She later went on to earn her Master’s Degree (M.A. at the University of Illinois – Springfield). Linda worked for 36 years as a nurse in diverse settings of hospitals throughout the state including, North Chicago V.A. Hospital and Memorial Hospital in Springfield. Linda was a member of Hope Christian Church.

The Family has requested any memorials be directed to the Humane Society of the United States, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Wounded Warrior Project and World Wild Life Fund.

Interment at Waterloo Cemetery in Waterloo, IL
