Joseph George Falgier

Joseph George Falgier, 85, of Waterloo, IL, passed away on September 5, 2022. Joseph was born on September 18, 1936 in Winchester, IL.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Carol Falgier (nee Lincoln), parents George & Laura (nee Reavy) Falgier, sisters Barbara Combs (nee Falgier) and Imogene Falgier. Early in life Joseph worked at a printing press, and later retired as a shipping clerk and enjoyed attending events in the Deaf community.

He is survived by his children Bonnie Fechter of Faribault, MN, Brenda Falgier of Iowa City, IA, and Jonathan (Tiffany) Falgier of Waterloo, IL; grandchildren Kelsey (Mike) Adkins, John Fechter IV, Taylor Falgier, Miles Falgier, Austin Falgier, nieces; nephews.

 Joseph had a deep love for his family, friends, the deaf community, sports and reading the newspaper with a cup of black coffee. Joseph was an excellent writer, sketch artist and he enjoyed telling jokes and making people laugh.

Funeral:

Immediately following Visitation the Funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Quernheim Funeral Home, Pastor Paul Strosnider officiating.

Interment at Waterloo City Cemetery in Waterloo, IL.

Reception to follow at Life Community Church, 626 W Bottom Ave, Columbia, IL 62236.
