John E. White III

John E.  White III, 69, of Granite City, IL, died June 4, 2016, in Maryville, IL. He was born October 27, 1946, in Peoria, IL.

    He is survived by his sister Leliah (John) Baxter of Fults, IL; half-sister Linda Sue (nee White) of California; half brother Michael Dale White of California; and an uncle, nephews, special friends Jim and Maxine Tourville, grand niece, & cousins.

    He is preceded in death by his parents John E. & Mary E. (nee Palus) White and his sister Lela White.

    John retired from Southwestern Correction Center. He was a mason, graduate of East St. Louis Senior High School (1965), and graduated from Northwestern University.
