Jefferson James Koch

Jefferson James Koch, 54, of Red Bud, IL, died June 23, 2023, in Creal Springs, IL. He was born September 4, 1968, in Red Bud, IL.

 He is survived by his son Kyle (Kelsey) Koch; daughter Paige Koch; granddaughter Maeve Koch; parents James (Debra) Koch; stepfather Gary Schulte; sister Kelly Koch-Pence; stepsisters Sabrina (Ryan) Gummersheimer and Tabitha (Mike) Bono; companion Mary Moran; stepsons Anthony (Kristen) Moran, Mike Moran (Ellie Detmer), and Cosmo Moran; nieces; nephews; cousins; and Trigger (his lab dog hunting buddy).

 He is preceded in death by his mother Alice Schulte; grandparents Robert and Dorothy Kolmer and Raymond and June Smith; and stepsister Melissa Mitchell.

 Jeff was an avid fisherman, hunter, duck hunter, and trained lab dogs. He was a member of Paderborn Bass Club, Anglers Choice Tournaments, and Knot Responsible Boat Club.
