Jean E. Buettner

Jean E. Buettner, 89, of Waterloo, IL, died April 9, 2024, in Waterloo, IL. She was born June 2, 1934, in Wartburg, IL.

    She is survived by her brother Kenneth Buettner; nieces and nephews Patricia (Terry) Mosbacher, David (Delberta) Buettner, Scott (Stacey) Buettner, Todd (Amy) Buettner; great nieces and nephews Andrew (Andrea Degener) Buettner, Megan Kelley, Callie and Haylie Buettner and Logan and Kyndal Buettner and Jessica Buettner (Corey Herweck), great great niece and nephew Brynlee Pollard and Carson Kelley.

    She is preceded in death by her parents Rudolph & Ardina (nee Hoffmann) Buettner and brother Robert Buettner.

    Jean is a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Wartburg, IL where she was an organist for 50 years, taught Sunday school, and secretary. She also was the former administrative assistant to the president of the Lutheran Missouri Synod Church.
