James L. Winkelmann, 80, of Waterloo, IL, died August 13, 2024, in Waterloo, IL. He was born August 25, 1943, in St. Louis, MO.

He is survived by his wife Cynthia Winkelmann; children Donna Winkelmann, Michael Winkelmann, and Timothy Winkelmann; grandchildren Jessica Knoll, Mickey Ellison, Megan Abbott, James Moody, Zackery Winkelmann, Adam Winkelmann, and Isaiah Winkelmann; great grandchildren Oliver Winkelmann, Thea Abbott, and Ellie Abbott; sister Judy Pratt; and special family friends Dawn Vanderver, Nicole Range, and Alissa Wisely.

He is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Rose (nee Wagner) Winkelmann; and brothers Larry and Roger Winkelmann.

James (Jim) was a Proud Engineer on the Terminal Railroad and member of the Maeystown Sportsman Club.
