Henry G. Ahne

Henry G.  Ahne, 75, of Waterloo, Illinois, died July 24, 2016, in St. Louis, MO. He was born December 30, 1940, in Madonnaville, IL.

    He is survived by his wife Mary L. Ahne nee Martin; children Bryan (Dixie) Ahne, Kim (Lyn) Ahne, & Kelly Ahne; step daughter Sandra Varner; grandchildren Abby Haines, Kayla Ahne, & Ellie Ahne; step grandchildren Jennifer Ohlemeyer (fiance Daniel Anderson), Heather (Jeremiah) Dugger, Shane Ohlemeyer, Thomas Falk, Lauren Falk, Baron & Contessa Braatz; great grandchildren Jakob & Alivia DeJaynes, Jaxon Stuehlmeyer, & Sophia Dugger; brothers and sisters Arthur (Joan) Ahne, LaVerne (John) Schuster, Bernice (Melvin) Duvall, Joann Shields, Ruth Feldker, Robert (Lucy) Ahne, Paul (Betty) Ahne, William Ahne, Michael "Gene" (Jean) Ahne, and Richard "Butch" (Pamela) Ahne; sister-in-law Margaret A. Ahne; nieces, nephews, & cousins. 

    He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph F. & Corina A. (nee Floerke) Ahne; 1st wife Myrtle V. Ahne nee Matzenbacher; stepson Roger Cording; brothers John B. Ahne, Martin G. Ahne, and Arline F. Ahne.

    Henry was a US Navy Veteran and Commander of the American Legion for many years.
