Glenn was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Maeystown, IL and was a long time member of the cemetery board. He was a member of the Maeystown Sportsmans Club and the Maeystown Kloepper Club. He loved farming, hunting, fishing, and playing cards. He was a champion dancer and excellent cook. He played ball for many softball teams and basketball leagues back in the day with Nancy always there to support him from the sidelines. Many a friend can tell you about epic barn ball battles with Glenn. He never stepped away from the field or court. When he retired from playing, he took a spot on the bleachers, in the stands or sometimes even sitting in his truck watching his kids and grandkids do what they loved to do - sometimes being a little too spirited in his support for them. Glenn also enjoyed butchering and making sausage with his friends. And when he wasn’t cheering on his kids and grandkids, or feeding them, he would be playing cards at Annbriar or Maeystown Sportsmans Club, taking his grandkids fishing, enjoying a jeep ride or just sitting on the deck with his cats.
Glenn was loved by many. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a story to tell.
