Francis "Frank" B. Gregson

Francis B. "Frank" Gregson, 62, of New Athens, IL, died June 10, 2017, in Belleville, IL. He was born November 6, 1954, in Red Bud, IL.

    He is survived by his wife LuAnn Gregson (nee Birkner); children Scott (Lyndall) Gregson, Dr. Kristi (Dr. Jason) Moore, Katie (Dr. James) Munden; grandchildren Thomas Francis, Cassidy, Brady, Brynn, Finley, Maddox, Cynthia, Trey, Antwone, & Doris; mother Veronica  A. Gregson (nee Gale); brothers Gerard Q. (Clara) Gregson, Michael G. (Nancy) Gregson, and Marvin C. (Elaine) Gregson; mother-in-law Hedwig Birkner; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law Dane Wittenbrink, Gilbert (Deanna) Birkner, & Jonella (Michael) Donius; dear friends Larry & Mary Schaltenbrand and Mike & Sherry Dill; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; & cousins.

    Frank is preceded in death by his father Quentin J. Gregson, father-in-law Gilbert Birkner, sister-in-law Evelyn Wittenbrink, & niece Aimee Gregson.

    He is a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Church - Hecker, IL, president of the Holy Name Society, & groundskeeper for St. Augustine of Canterbury Church; member of Hecker Sportsman Club; Union carpenter; formerly employed at D & A Builders for over 30 years; outdoorsman; & a nature and animal enthusiast.

    8 AM until 9:15 AM Tuesday
