Earl L. Kopp

Earl L. Kopp, 79, of Waterloo, IL, died June 5, 2019, in Waterloo, IL. He was born July 6, 1939, in Belleville, IL.

He is survived by his wife Delores Kopp (nee Whelan); children Eric Kopp, Tania (Terry) Barbeau, Natalie Kopp, and Mark (Rachel) Kopp; grandchildren Joseph, Tyler, Steven, Rebecca, and Bailey; great grandchildren Harley and Jaxson; brother Erwin Kopp; sister-in-law Del Rose Descher; nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.

Earl is preceded in death by his parents Emil & Edna (nee Matzenbacher) Kopp; father-in-law & mother-in-law John & Adella Whelan; sister-in-law Edith Kopp; and brother-in-law James Descher.

He is a US Navy Veteran serving on the USS Saratoga (CV-60), Columbia American Legion Post 581, life member of Waterloo VFW Post 6504, and in the carpenters local #662.

A funeral procession will be leaving Quernheim Funeral Home at 8:45 AM, Monday June 10 for a 9:30 AM graveside service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
