Dorothy L. Oexner

Dorothy L.  Oexner, nee Loehr, 91, of Columbia, Illinois, died March 20, 2016, in Columbia, IL. She was born February 9, 1925, in Waterloo, IL.

    She is survived by her husband Kenneth Oexner; sons Leon Oexner, Larry (Kim) Oexner, & Marty (Deb) Oexner; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister Myrtle Voss; sister-in-law Ethel Loehr; many loving nieces, nephews, & cousins.

    She is preceded in death by her parents Emil & Imelda (nee Hoelscher) Loehr; sisters Delores Mae Loeher, & Ruth Frierdich; & brothers Donald James Loehr & Leroy Loehr.

    Dorothy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary - Columbia Post 581, Columbia Senior Citizens, Immaculate Conception Church - Columbia, Alter Society, a hospice volunteer as well as a hospice patient.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: 
Hospice of Southern Illinois, Masses, or St. Jude's Hospital

    4 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Quernheim Funeral Home
    8 AM until 9:15 AM Wednesday

    10 AM Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Church in Columbia, IL
