Donald W. Frierdich

Donald W.  Frierdich, 78, of Prairie du Rocher, IL, died January 28, 2018, in Red Bud, IL. He was born February 14, 1939, in Belleville, IL.

He is survived by his wife Suzette J. Frierdich (nee Tatgenhorst); brother Kenneth Frierdich; sister Carol Frierdich; nephew Bob (Rebecca) Frierdich; & niece Christine (Scott) Madlock.
He is preceded in death by his parents Erwin H. & & Flora M. (nee Jasper) Frierdich, & sister-in-law Shigeko Frierdich.

Donald attended the MO School of Mines & Minerals at Rolla, MO. He worked at McDonnell Douglas, was a substitute teacher at Mascoutah High School, a dairy farmer, and a carpenter. He loved his 35 year old quarter horse "Goldfoot". Animals were always a part of his life. He was a gentle and hard working man. He will be deeply missed by his family and his family cat "Squeaky".
