Donald C. Dietz, 81, of Waterloo, IL, died October 12, 2016, in Waterloo, IL. He was born April 19, 1935, in Waterloo, IL.

He is survived by his children Kevin (Sharon) Dietz and Jim Dietz; grandchildren Scott & Mallory Dietz; sisters Mary Toal and Margaret Rienhold; sisters-in-law Diane Dietz, Pat Stock, Doris Chaput, and Margie Holle; brother-in-law Dennis (Llana) Korte; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Don is preceded in death by his wife Joann C. Dietz nee Korte; parents Conrad and Lucille (nee Fleming) Dietz; brother Joseph Dietz; sister Sister Dorothy Marie Dietz ASC, nephew Karl Reinhold; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

He is a member of SS Peter & Paul Church - Waterloo; Waterloo Lion's Club (50 years); and former Monroe County Commissioner.
