Betty Vee Smith nee Limestall, 86, of Waterloo, IL, died September 2, 2015 in Waterloo, IL. She was born June 20, 1929 in Peoria, IL.

She is survived by her children Terry (Doris) Kipping, Jenelle Palmer, Kim (Gerald) Straub, & Jeff (Laura) Kipping, 9 grandchildren Greg (Heather) Kipping, Christine (Dave) Otten, Melissa (Milton) Huebner-Sherfy, Cassy (Chad) Goldschmidt, C.J. Diehl, Liette (Jason) Goeddel, Stuart Straub, Bethany Kipping, & Ethan Kipping, 15 great-grandchildren,  sister Ida Mae Capron, brother Glenn (Doris) Limestall, sister-in-law Marcella Boehne, nieces, nephews, & cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents William & Liette (nee Hoffman) Limestall, & husbands Ralph J. Smith & Gregory A. Kipping.

Visitation will be at Quernheim Funeral Home from 4 PM to 8 PM Thursday September 3, 2015 and 8 AM to 9:30 AM Friday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM Friday September 4, 2015 at SS Peter & Paul Church in Waterloo, IL with Father Osang Idagbo C.M. officiating and burial will be at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo, IL.

Betty was a member of SS Peter & Paul Church - Waterloo, Red Bud VFW Ladies Auxiliary, former teacher, nurse, & Girl Scout leader.
