Alvera is preceded in death by her husband Vernon W. Jacobs; her parents Arthur and Wilhemina Dehne nee Koch; brother Vernon Dehne; sister Delores (Ronald) Rubemeyer
She was a member of Immanual Lutheran Church-Waterloo, Christian Women's missionary League, Waterloo Senior Center
