Allen G. Kent

Allen G. Kent, 57, of Red Bud, IL, died September 27, 2023, in Waterloo, IL. He was born October 15, 1965, in Gibson City, IL.

    He is survived by his wife Susan M. Kent nee Hoffmann; children Justin Kent & Ashley Kent; grandchildren Benjamin, Jace, Garrett, Carter, Aliviah, Madalynn, and Colton; mother Bonnie Kent (nee Berner); brothers and sisters Karen (Donald) Kuhn, Barbara (Steve) Mertz, and Gary (Cori) Kent; aunt Juanita Kent; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

    Allen is preceded in death by his father Ronald G. Kent, granddaughter Hope Kent, brother Michael Kent, uncle Donald Kent, and his grandparents.

    He was an avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed hanging out with his friends, he would do anything for anyone, and he formerly worked for Monroe County Road District #4.
