Albert H. Shields, Jr.

Albert H. Shields, Jr., 87, of Waterloo, IL, died January 5, 2022. After several months of declining health, Albert died peacefully in his sleep. He was born October 10, 1934, in Waterloo, IL.

He is survived by his children Al (Diane) Shields, Jim (Mary) Shields, Jennifer (Chris) Kirn, and Tommy (Jenny) Shields; grandchildren Danielle (Tony) Schoen, Ana (Saul) Capilla, Zachary, Logan, and Lauren Shields, Griffin and Emerson Kirn, and Leo Shields; great grandchildren Liv and Eva Schoen; sister Joyce Koester; sisters-in-law; brother-in-law; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

Albert is preceded in death by his wife Dorothea L. Shields nee Scanlan; parents Albert Sr. & Rose (nee Goodman) Shields; brothers Raymond, Cletus, Emmett, Jerome, and Leon Shields.
